Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Vaastulokam account and all associated personal data at any time. We offer two ways to do this.
Option 1 — From inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Vaastulokam app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Confirm. The deletion runs immediately.
The app calls our deleteAccount Cloud Function which removes your
Firestore records, Cloud Storage files (including any uploaded floor plans),
FCM push tokens, and your Firebase Authentication user. Once deletion completes,
your remaining coin balance is forfeited and cannot be restored.
Option 2 — By email request
If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@vaastulokam.com from the email address linked to your account. Include the following:
- The email or phone number you used to sign in.
- The approximate date you created the account (if you remember).
- A clear request to delete the account and all associated data.
We will verify ownership and process the request within 30 days, and email you a confirmation when it’s done.
What gets deleted
- Account profile (name, email, phone, address).
- All uploaded floor plans and consultation chat history.
- Wallet balance and transaction ledger.
- FCM push tokens and notification preferences.
- Firebase Authentication user record.
What may be retained
- Aggregate, de-identified analytics that can no longer be linked back to you.
- Records we are required to keep for tax, audit, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically Play Billing receipts), retained for the period required by law.
- Crash logs in Firebase Crashlytics that contain no personal identifiers, retained per Firebase defaults.
